You can take IELTS in two formats :

Computer-Delivered IELTS

A faster and more flexible test format taken on a computer at the test center. Results come in 3–5 days. Ideal for those comfortable with typing and digital tools.

Paper-Based IELTS

A traditional pen-and-paper format. Suitable for students who prefer writing by hand. Results are available in around 13 days.

Speaking test is always face-to-face with an examiner.
