SAT Syllabus/ What is Tested

There are mainly two types of SAT tests.

Reading & Writing Section — tests English reading, comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, writing conventions; passages may come from literature, history/social studies, science etc.

Covers topics like algebra, functions, geometry, data analysis, statistics, problem solving. Calculator allowed.

Focus is on reasoning, critical thinking, data interpretation, problem solving — skills required in undergraduate academic courses.
